If a source of light moves during the time of exposure of
a photograph it will be displaid in the picture as a shining line which shows
the way covered. The source of light as well as the stars have been moving
during the exposure of this picture. Under these conditions the time of
exposure acquires great importance in our photographs, getting sometimes
surprising effects. We would suggest you to try the writing on the air with
small torch or the picture of a landscape at night in which a car is driving
through the roads leaving the shining lines of the headlamps lights.
